The first visit to Madrid by Marriott International’s president, David S. Marriott, coincides with major changes in the capital’s hotel sector, including the transformation of the Hotel Palace. It will transition from the Westin brand to The Luxury Collection (both part of Marriott) once renovations are completed, making it the sixth luxury hotel of this brand in Madrid.
Marriott International (the world’s largest hotel group) is making a clear investment in Madrid as a prime urban destination, currently operating six luxury hotels with over 3,251 rooms in the city.
