After several changes in management, Princesa Plaza Madrid is rebranding and reclaiming its original name.
Since its opening in 1976, this iconic hotel has been under the management of various hotel groups. Most recently, from 2015 to December 2019, it was part of the American chain Marriott International.
Savills Aguirre Newman took over the hotel’s management in May 2018, and in December 2019, it decided to leave the Marriott franchise, turning Princesa Plaza Madrid into an independent hotel. This marked the beginning of a brand redesign after years of operating under major national and international hotel chains.
